France In Bahrain BTM July 2012 59 LYCÉE FRANÇAIS DE BAHREÏN A French Education First established over 35 years ago to cater to the French youths residing in Bahrain, Lycée Français today opens its doors to students of all nationalities and promises an enriching and well-established learning. “We are approved by the Ministry of Education in France and teach its official curriculum,” explains the school’s principal, Loic Chatton. “In fact, we are the only school in the Kingdom which offers the French curriculum.” The school stays true to its roots and naturally teaches French to advanced levels, but also maintains high standards of excellence in the two other languages taught; Arabic and English. Each course available is taught by a qualified teacher, either coming directly from France and approved by the French Ministry of Education, or recruited locally within the required qualifications.
