Children will be introduced to tennis, swimming, dance, bowling, outdoor games, water sports and arts and crafts. Older children will also be able to enjoy scuba and snorkelling while the younger ones will be mesmerised during storytime. When? June 18- July 9 Venue? Tubli Club Tubli Club will be organising sports competitions, workshops and other games aimed at helping boys and girls make the most of their leisure time. Held in their recently-inaugurated gym in Tubli, these activities are bound to keep kids entertained. When? June 30-August Venue? Berlitz Your child will soon be multilingual thanks to Berlitz’s Summer Camp. Classes in Italian, Spanish, German, Arabic and English will be available in addition to cooking activities and arts and crafts. Available for kids aged 4 to 14. When? July-September Venue? Al Banna Taekwondo Center Led by black belt Ali Al Banna, this centre will build character, confidence, self control and respect in all participants through Taekwondo and mixed martial arts classes. There are two programs to choose from suitable for children aged 3 to 13+. When? July 1-12 Venue? Bahrain City Centre In partnership with Wahooo! Waterpark, the BCC will be hosting a summer camp for kids aged 7 to 12. Each week will include five days of fun-filled activities including a tour behind the screens at Cineco, baking lessons, cookie decoration at the Kempinski Hotel, and a bowling tournament. When? July 1-August 16 Venue? Indian Institute of Performing Arts The annual ‘Parampara’ summer camp is back! Courses like Hindustani classical singing, tabla, Bharatanatyam, painting, thematic presentation, acting skills and Carnatic music will be available. Children will be encouraged to remain active this summer by engaging in swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball, Taekwondo, drama, music and arts. RIA An inclusive educational centre, RIA’s Fun and Laughter Factory is open to all children from ages 2 to 11. Sylvan Learning A camp with an educational focus, Sylvan Learning provides reading, writing and math lessons in both English and Arabic. British School of Bahrain Accommodating toddlers to pre-teens, the camp will be split into three different groups according to age. Students will be able to try out several new activities as well as some firm favourites. Field trips, swimming, dance, drama, music and DJ workshops, yoga and more will be available. When? Find out at this summer camp where kids will learn to serve, rally and score with a slow ball, all the while acquiring the coordination skills necessary for tennis. Studio Ceramics This successful summer camp will be running arts and crafts activities to create an exciting learning experience for children.
