Celebrating Ramadan MIDWAY SUPERMARKET Ramadan is all about giving; a task that Midway Supermarket is adhering to this Holy Month. Their stores across the Kingdom will offer shoppers the gift of a more affordable festive season in addition to many promotions and deals to ensure families can celebrate in style. You can’t cook a delicious Arabic meal without quality ingredients and the retailer makes no exceptions when it comes to the quality of their products. The freshest veggies and fruits to complement your savoury dishes along with premium cuts of meat, fish and poultry are all specially priced for Ramadan. The festive theme continues at the bakery section where local sweets and treats will be lining the shelves. To make your shopping trip convenient while you are fasting, the supermarket has designed four ‘Charity Baskets’ that contain the essentials of everyday cooking. These will be available at all the Midway outlets for only BD7, 10, 15 and 20, and include hefty amounts of rice, flour, cooking oil, pasta, milk and sugar. “We also want to encourage youngsters to master the art of cooking local dishes; several easy to use Bahraini and nonBahraini cookbooks are available,” says CEO Khalid Al-Amin. But that’s not all; shoppers will also have the chance to win moneysaving shopping vouchers throughout the month. Celebrating success Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the retail division of Ali-Rashid Al-Amin Co has built a name for itself as an industry giant in the Kingdom.
