The official launch will be on February 24 and it will be open to the public from February 25 to 28 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. This year, BIGS will be held under the theme Tree Care and will focus on agricultural skills for the care of trees, aimed at educating beginners on how to avoid mistakes and to spread the correct skills to achieve healthy fruitful trees. Visitors will find various methods of tending to both fruiting and ornamental trees, including land preparation, irrigation, fertilisation, pruning, agricultural pest control and palm tree care. The event represents a wonderful opportunity to connect the public with business owners and provides a chance to attract new customers and business partnerships. It usually attracts VIPs, architects, engineers, consultants, developers and professionals from various sectors, in addition to agricultural amateurs, consumers, school and university students, as well as agriculture enthusiasts. BIGS has steadily evolved over the past years, with the number of visitors reaching more than 32,000, as well as many different exhibitors from across the world. This year, the halls have been segmented into three different zones – Market Zone, Design Zone and Awareness Zone. Hall 1 will be dedicated to the Market Zone, where visitors will find products and services related to agriculture, such as roses, plants, agricultural tools, pots, garden furniture, agricultural machinery, lighting equipment and more. Hall 2 will accommodate both the Awareness Zone and Design Zone. The first will allow visitors an opportunity to see the latest advanced agricultural projects prepared by many educational and academic entities. In addition, they will meet with different ministries that have common projects related to agriculture. In the Design Zone, which has been allocated to participants from the public and private sectors, visitors will get to see advanced gardens and innovative services in the field of design and landscaping that will be displayed by different exhibitors.
