November 2016 77 www.bahrainthismonth.com UK Education Exhibition Exploring Opportunities The British Council Bahrain is organising the annual Education UK Exhibition (EDUKEX 2016), giving prospective students for undergraduate and graduate programmes the opportunity to meet representatives from universities, colleges and educational institutions. The exhibition will take place on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning and evening, November 2-3 2016, at Al Taj Ballroom, Sheraton Bahrain Hotel, Manama. The event is expected to attract around 1,500 visitors to meet representatives from 25 UK universities. It will be opened by His Excellency Simon Martin British Ambassador with key figures from the education sector. EDUKEX is part of the British Council’s initiative to enhance cultural and educational relations between Bahrain and the UK by helping create a knowledge-based economy.
