One of JJ’s Irish Restaurant’s most popular annual traditions, Karaoke Idol is back for another smashing season. Now in its 12th year, this sensational live singing show will be held every Tuesday till the grand finale on December 13. There is a cash prize of BD1,000 up for grabs along with guaranteed fun times. There will be six qualifying rounds in total, with the last round taking place on December 13. From the 12 contestants each week, the panel of judges will select two lucky singers who will make the cut and secure a spot in the grand finale. Each week, there’s online voting as well to save one of your favourite contestants who was not selected by the judges. From these six, one wild card entry with the most online votes will go directly to the final round. What’s more, all the online voters will get a chance to win a trip for two to Dubai. The online voting winner of the Dubai raffle draw must be present at JJ’s on the finale of Karaoke Idol to collect the prize. In total, 13 contestants will go head to head in the final show. The winner will be awarded BD700, second place will get BD200, and third place will win BD100 in cash. This is truly an entertaining event where all the excitement, food, drinks and music are mixed in together to give everyone the best karaoke experience possible.
