Bahrain’s first comprehensive exhibition dealing with all aspects of the beauty sector, from cosmetic dentistry to the latest in hair, nails and spa treatments, will take place at Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre from December 1 to 3 to coincide with Bahrain Women’s Day. Held under the patronage of Minister of Health, HE Faeqa bint Saeed Alsaleh, the three-day event has taken nine months to set up and is being organised by local company 4Sale4You, which spotted a gap in the market to bring together the most prominent cosmetic doctors and beauty experts under one roof, showcasing a complete portfolio of products for visitors to discover. Visitors can take advantage of the largest gathering of beauty, spa, cosmetics, health and weight-management, plastic surgery and birth defect treatment experts under one roof. And high-profile participants already signed up include Dr Abdelshahid Fadl Clinic, Dr Tahsin Al Waheb — LAD Hair, Dr Haidar Hamdi Al-Fayadh — Ceram Dental, Dr Aisha Al Mansoori – Al Mansoori Dental, Muna Dental Clinic, and Instaplus Cosmetics from the UAE. Fields represented include hair care, nail care and nail artistes, salons, cosmetics and skincare, fragrances, plastic surgery clinics and hospitals, spa and salon service providers, cosmetic dentistry, makeup suppliers and artists, health and weight-management clinics and gyms and fitness centres. Around 80 to 100 exhibitors from all areas of the industry are expected to take part with companies from both the UAE and Saudi Arabia signed up alongside Bahrain-based organisations. And organisers are expecting between 10,000 and 15,000 visitors over the three-day period. There’ll be an exciting programme of activities, exhibitors, presentations, seminars and displays introducing the latest products and techniques as well educational and cultural workshops and the chance to meet the doctors. Also expect lots of free information across the sector including companies which combine the products and services of the medical, natural and beauty-related holistic industries. The first event of its kind in the Kingdom, the organisers want to make the expo an annual happening bringing in more international participants each year and keeping the local market up to date with developments in the beauty industry.
