Exhibition | Venue? Bin Mattar House With the strokes of their brushes rendering a chorus of colours, the renowned, award-winning Bahraini artists, Abdullah Al Muharraqi and his son Khalid Al Muharraqi will appear in a duo exhibition. Muharraqi: Father & Son is set to reveal a symphony of artistic legacy and controversial imagery. The exhibition consists of pieces by both artists that continue to have a profound impact on culture as well as pieces that have never been seen before. For the first time, visitors can see an artistic masterpiece that Abdulla and Khalid have created together. Abdullah is one of the pioneers of contemporary fine art in the Kingdom. His name extends in recognition widely to Bahraini households. The surrealist artist’s rare and dystopian depictions of culture are instantly recognisable. Khalid’s name is synonymous with the finest in the realm of digital art. His works portray artistic depth and painstaking precision that is both moving and raw. He carries the torch lit by his father through a ceaseless journey of unrestricted artistic exposition that has captivated audiences beyond Bahrain. E Call 17 322-549.
