The 6th Annual Food & Hospitality Expo takes pace next month at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. With the event having grown tremendously over the years, the organisers expect a much larger turnout in terms of visitors and exhibitors alike. Whether it’s business meetings, gaining new clients, introducing new products, networking, or simply trying out some delicious food, the expo promises a great time for everybody. Participation comes from all corners, be it food producers, distributors, refrigeration experts, packaging experts, kitchen and food manufacturing equipment producers, caterers, hoteliers, hygiene experts, chefs or local and international business owners. For the public, the event is an opportunity to see new products and exciting innovations, meet various service providers, watch live cooking demos, participate in free industry-related seminars and interact with industry experts. The expo is organised by the Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority (BECA) with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Tamkeen as a strategic partner. Leaders Institute for Training and Development is one of the co-organisers and will run seminars on food and health safety with keynote speakers throughout the three days. Business with entertainment The expo this year features chefs from top hotels around the region as they compete with each other in cook-offs throughout the three days. There will also be numerous live cooking demonstrations for you to observe as well as food tasting and sample stands that promise a quick bite, any given time of the day. In addition to all this and industry-related seminars and workshops, there are visitor competitions and prizes to be won.
