With nominations remaining open until August 31, the Woman of the Year Awards 2026 invite individuals, businesses and organisations to recognise women making a meaningful impact across Bahrain. Organised by Red House Marketing and presented by Jetour, the awards have become one of Bahrain’s leading recognition initiatives, celebrating achievement across business, media, education, hospitality, sport and the creative industries. Established in 2024, the initiative was created to spotlight women making a meaningful contribution across Bahrain. Businesses, organisations and members of the public are invited to nominate women whose achievements deserve wider recognition. This year’s edition also includes the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, honouring a woman whose decades of contribution have helped shape Bahrain’s society, industry or culture. The awards are organised across five categories, with a full reminder of this year’s awards featured opposite. The 2025 Grand Finale, held at The Grand Ballroom of The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa in Manama, reflected the growing scale of the initiative, bringing together nominees, industry leaders and guests for an evening of recognition, celebration and live performances. Reflecting on the atmosphere of the evening, Marija Rakic, winner in the Woman in Performing Arts category, said: “The energy of women supporting women was truly palpable.
