The Fanta Masters tournament organised by Power League Gaming (PLG) aims to find the top amateur gamers of the region’s Arab youth community. The Bahrain leg of the competition hosted an impressive showcase of virtual football skills on EA Sports FIFA 2014. Over 160 gamers competed to make it into the final 16 and win a place in the regional final to be held in Abu Dhabi this month. Top Bahraini gamers Mohammed Jassim and Hussain Ali AlTaraif competed against Indonesian gamer Puju Mujanid and American gamer Abdulaziz Shiddo. Mohammed and Hussain ended victorious, with all four finalists having secured a spot to participate in the Million Player event that will be held at the Al Jazeera Sports Club.
