Unlike TOCA, GRID doesn’t focus on a particular racing championship. There is a variety of road and racing cars to choose from that prevents you from getting bored, which can often be the case with single-series games. Graphics: The attention to detail for both cars and tracks is stunning. Minute details, like the lights and badges of the cars and barriers and signs on the tracks, are crisp and clean. To avid racers, these details matter. It gives a greater representation of the actual environment. Speaking of which, the tracks are fantastic. The backgrounds are closely matched with the real thing. It shows the wild world of street racing in detail, especially with the narrow roads. Gameplay: Though GRID has been more of an arcade-style racing game, Codemasters have tried to dial a simulator feel into the driving experience. This is surprisingly good. Rather than taking the fun away, this feature has added something for motorsport enthusiasts. The racing is frantic and fun. It is accompanied by much crashing and scraping, which adds to the fun of the game. You will be driving through Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Paris, Barcelona and Dubai. Everything is ramped up — the fear factor, the excitement and the adrenaline. Watch Dogs is a futuristic, openworld game with hacker and former thug Aiden Pearce as the protagonist. The gameplay and graphics are impressive. When it comes to handling vehicles, it’s not very smooth. Although the PS4 game was expected to feature realistic faces, they still look artificial. GRID Autosport A wonderfully detailed tactical shooter game, Sniper Elite 3 has been improved in many ways. The slow-motion x-ray of the damage your bullets are doing to the enemies is impressive, albeit a little gruesome. Africa, the new location for the game, provides fresh challenges. The graphics are stunning. GAME OF THE MONTH Spoiling for a Fight These hotly anticipated games have just been released and aim to be some of the most significant games of 2014. VERDICT: It is a genuinely fun and easy-to-play game. games Sniper Elite 3 Watch Dogs Wolfenstein is set in 1960 in a world where the Nazis had won WW2. You take the control of William ‘BJ’ Blazkowicz, an army ranger with the job of going on the offensive against the Nazi rulers.
