Keep watching New Horizons SHARIF GROUP The A La Mode boutiques are a familiar face on the retail scene in Bahrain, with its stores in both Bahrain City Centre and Seef Mall anchoring the range of watches and fashionable accessories on offer from the Sharif Group. The latest edition to the network of outlets is a new branch in East Riffa’s Enma Mall, which adds to the third outlet opened at the Lulu Hypermarket in Hidd Town towards the end of last year. “We have seen a great response from customers to both shops,” says Manar Al Rayes, the brand manager for fashion accessories at Sharif Group. “Making it more convenient for our customers to come and visit us has been an important factor in our decision to open these two new destinations.” The expansion of this retailer is, though, not just restricted to new locations. For most of us A La Mode is synonymous with watches. That’s changing under the direction of Manar as she broadens the range of products available to include fashionable accessories. “While the watch business will always be a core component of our portfolio, we are looking to enhance the options for our customers with an accessories line-up,” Manar explains. The latest addition to the brands managed by Sharif Group is expected to be a range of products from Just Cavalli. This follows on from the hugely successful launch of the Crislu brand at Jewellery Arabia last year. The exquisite cubic zironia rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants have been a hit with customers. “We are passionate about the watches, fashion accessories, leather products and writing instruments that are available at our shops,” adds Manar. “We will continue to meet the demands of our customers by adding to our range of accessories from brands such as Morellato, Emporio Armani, Misaki, Pierre Cardin and Rochas.”
