Inspired by nature, a long-standing source of inspiration for the jeweller, the launch event offered guests a glimpse into the enchanting world of VC&A. Taking centre stage at the exhibition was a series of ‘Between the Finger’ rings that reflected the design drivers behind the brand. The ‘star’ of the collection, which is predominantly in silver, is the ‘Two Butterfly’ ring that juxtaposes the base colour for the collection with a splash of gold. In addition to butterflies, birds and flowers are captured in the form of earrings, rings and pendants; a distinct feature of the rings, though, is the ‘open-finger’ design element which allows the motif to be spread across a number of fingers. The Virevolte and Lotus rings also have a ‘closed-finger’ option as well. Adding some colour are the Broderie earrings and rings, illustrating the trademark use of green as a focal point in the jewellery produced by VC&A.
