The last week of February sees the launch of new theme nights and the return of a popular brunch. MAYA LA CHOCOLATERIE Cocoa Craving You don’t need an excuse to raid a house of chocolate, but Maya La Chocolaterie gives you a really good one. This time you’ll be gorging away decadent sweets for a cause. Between February 1 and 16, you have the chance to donate to the fight against children’s cancer by buying a box of the new cocoa treats created by the dedicated boutique. Celebrate the season of love with the ChocoB family. Choco Dee, dark and handsome, leads the herd of chocolate truffles. If you’re a fan of dark chocolate truffles, then you are in for a treat. Joining him is Choco Mo; meant for the bubbly and adventurous, this milk chocolate truffle is to die for. Those who like their chocolate white will love Choco Bebe, the princess of the trio. As the character demands, this truffle is sweet to the core. As impossible as it may be, not everyone is a chocoholic. For those of you who would like to be a part of the cause without having a go at these dark temptations, the ChocoB range extends to a collection of plush toys and gift hampers. Grab your favourite of the three, or all of them, from the kiosk in the outlet at the new extension at Seef Mall. One hundred per cent of the proceeds go to Smile, a Bahraini initiative to tackle cancer in children. Remember, the chocolate truffle family won’t be visiting for long. However, you can show your support and adopt them as soon as possible. E Call 17 583-368 or email [email protected]. There’s nothing that chocolate can’t fix. A house dedicated to the guilty pleasure gives you yet more reasons to indulge, apart from the obvious Valentine’s Day demand. When? February 1-16 | Event? ChocoB launch | Venue?
