This was followed by the High Bilateral Committee in July, co-chaired by both Ministers of Foreign Affairs. These milestones reflect the shared ambition and trust guiding our cooperation. We also congratulate Bahrain on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. I extend my warm wishes to the Kingdom and its people on National Day. At Gateway Gulf 2025, agreements signed by DHL and KAST highlighted Bahrain’s strategic importance. Our bilateral relations grow stronger each year. Two way trade reached USD 1.64 billion in FY 2024 to 2025, while Indian investments totalled nearly USD 2 billion. India has launched an electronic visa system across nine categories for Bahraini nationals. The year 2026 marks the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
