BTM December 2011 161 Join the Carnival TRADER VIC’S Charge up your spirits this December at Trader Vic’s like it’s the last celebration of your life, as you celebrate the end of this year and the start of 2012. Trader Vic’s opens its doors to a whole month of festivities like never before. Highlighting its tropical roots this FrenchPolynesian venue kicks off the season on December 6 by undergoing a major festive makeover throughout the restaurant, including its bar lounge area. Setting a backdrop that complements the celebrations to follow is their first grand step toward days of unlimited fun. Known for its tempting traditional fare, the restaurant hasn’t drifted too far from their best feature — great food. In fact, they have perked up the menu with Christmas specials from around the globe. While chicken, duck and goose hold sway in much of Christmas dinners; turkey has its place — right at the top. And that’s just what they’ll be serving at this one-of-a-kind eat-out from December 19-26. Give in to the tenderness of the oven roasted and stuffed tom turkey on offer because this is the perfect time of the year to spoil yourself, and nothing quite cuts it like juicy meat. The only thing that will steal your attention from your plate on Christmas Day will be their six-member Cuban band, Riviera, who will spread their vibrant energy during lunch from 12-3pm with classical Christmas songs.
