With attendances starting to dwindle, geneticists create a giant hybrid dinosaur known as Indominus Rex to satisfy the lust for something new and be the park’s latest star attraction. Inevitably, the creature ends up going on a deadly rampage, so it’s up to velociraptor trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to stop it with help from park manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard). Worth Watching? Jurassic World is a fantastic return to form for the series that set the benchmark for ‘monster on the loose’ blockbusters. It gets so much right by making the action service the plot rather than the other way round, featuring numerous light-hearted moments, gorgeous visuals and just the right amount of nostalgia to delight you without the feel of sycophantic pandering.
