Every individual tries to conceal his weaknesses, imperfections and what is forbidden by law or collective traditions, only showing what is acceptable and valued in the community. In Annan’s work, he proves that we hide what is beautiful and show what is ugly, only to occasionally discover beauty in the ugliness and ugliness in the beauty.
