Bahrain This Month - November 2026

125 UNTIED IN PINK womanthismonth.com | NOVEMBER 2026 Bahrain Unites in Pink More than 500 people gathered at Water Garden City on Saturday, October 24, for the second edition of United in Pink, showing solidarity with those affected by breast cancer through an evening of awareness, fundraising and community activities. Organised by Woman This Month and Gulf Daily News, in association with the Capital Governorate, the event brought families, companies and individuals together under the message: “One Community. One Cause. One Powerful Statement.” Featuring 12 stalls alongside art, health initiatives and entertainment, the gathering offered visitors of all ages an opportunity to support the breast cancer community while enjoying an evening together. At the heart of the fundraising initiative was the Jetour Pink T1, which visitors were invited to sign. Jetour pledged to donate BD1 for every signature added to the vehicle, giving attendees a simple way to contribute to charity and turn their participation into practical support. The signature campaign provided a focal point for the occasion, connecting individual contributions with a wider community effort. Each name represented another expression of solidarity with patients, survivors and families affected by breast cancer. Local artists brought creativity to the event through a pink art installation and live art presented in collaboration with Asian Paints Berger. Their involvement added a visual expression of hope and support, while highlighting the role of Bahrain’s creative community in championing meaningful causes. Wellbeing also featured throughout the programme, with health checks by American Mission Hospital, a community run led by Not a Cult Running Club and activities and challenges with Sporsista. Families enjoyed face painting, a photobooth, balloon twisting, candy floss, a live DJ and food stalls. The programme combined opportunities for reflection and awareness with activities that encouraged people to spend time together and engage with the cause. The event’s partners included UNIDO, ITPO Bahrain, Jetour, Asian Paints Berger, American Mission Hospital, HyperMax by Majid Al Futtaim and SOS Marketing. Further support came from Asgharali, Out of the Box, Water Garden City, Sporsista, Bahrain Art Collective, Myna, Not a Cult Running Club, TONI&GUY, Mövenpick and Four Square. The participation of businesses, artists, healthcare professionals and community groups reflected the collaborative spirit behind United in Pink. Together, they helped create an accessible setting for people to demonstrate their support. Building on its first edition, United in Pink once again brought Bahrain’s community together around a shared cause, combining breast cancer awareness with charitable giving and a visible message of solidarity.
