More than 100 drivers, in both cars and motorbikes, are expected to compete in the upcoming first round of the Bahrain Drag Racing Championship 2015/2016. The race will be held from November 10 to 13, along BIC’s world-class quarter-mile drag strip, which is a member of the prestigious National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Worldwide Network. No less than 500 Harley-Davidson Owners Group (HOG) riders from the region will take to the roads of Bahrain for the 2nd HOG Bahrain Rally 2015. The three-day long event will be held from November 12 to 14. Day one will entail regional guests crossing the King Fahad Causeway to Harley-Davidson Bahrain dealership, followed by dinner at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa (official hotel partner of HOG), along with the welcome ceremony as well as awarding of certificates to all attending chapters. Day two will start with an island ride from the assembly point Al Aali Mall, followed by one of the highlights — the Thunder Parade, ending at Bahrain international Circuit (BIC). The day will also include rides to touristic places on the island, along with bike games, bike show, Harley Academy, traditional market and kids’ fun ride, open to public for free. Day two will conclude with a concert featuring regional artists Hanan Rhida, Sultan al Faisal and Bader Alshaibi, tickets for which will be available on November 1. Day three will start from the HarleyDavidson dealership in Budaiya, with an early morning ride — “Discover Bahrain”, with traditional breakfast, then an escorted ride to King Fahad Causeway.
