Edamah, in its effort to mark the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day, hosts an event at Bab Al Bahrain that recognises and celebrates the economic, political, and social achievements of women all around the Kingdom. From small workshops to large-scale stalls, the three-day event allows Bahrain’s female business community to showcase their products and services. The first day will witness a number of VIP guests lending support to these businesses, which are managed by independent women and social groups. The organisers are expecting a large crowd as the stalls offer a variety of products from food to fashion, handmade jewellery and handicrafts. In addition to this, there are a range of activities such as workshops, an interactive platform where Bahraini women will get an opportunity to talk about their success, photography, painting, crafts for kids, exhibition, and more. Presenting an excellent opportunity for Bahraini businesswomen to share their ideas and experiences, the programme is not just aimed at women but includes young children, parents and people interested in art and photography. A live band takes care of the entertainment; for children there are activities such as storytelling, a play area and art and craft.
