The company showcased its state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure as part of the STC Group and also signed key agreements with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and King Hamad University Hospital during the event. Both organisations will collaborate to further strengthen Bahrain’s health system and the end-to-end patient experience. During GITEX 2013, VIVA also signed an agreement with the King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) to provide 50MB dedicated Internet access as well as a secure, robust and highquality network service through its dedicated business unit, VIVA Enterprise. The partnership will further enable rapid and smooth flow of information between various health entities and allow KHUH to access vital information and data to enhance patient experience. VIVA also showcased its social media leadership at GITEX with its ‘Tweet for a Treat’ machine, the first of its kind to be introduced in Bahrain.
