June 2014 7 Dear Readers, I am taking an educated guess here, but I’m pretty sure the main topic of conversation during the course of June will centre around a little round ball. After years of waiting, the World Cup kicks off in Brazil. Normally I would like to see the home nation walk away with the big prize — if England were not the winners. However, with a couple of Brazilian members of staff working at Red House Marketing, the prospect of a win for the team in yellow and green fills me with apprehension. Of course, this year’s event reminds me of the near miss for the Kingdom of Bahrain, who missed out at the final hurdle in 2010 — and with it the opportunity to beat England!
