Since many people like posting the stories of their lives online through social media platforms, why not try voicing your thoughts through this monthly workshop and earn the chance to publish a book? Award-winning author, speaker and publisher, Peter Zindler initiated The Bahrain Christian Writers Guild as a writers’ critique group last month. “The purpose of the guild is to encourage writers to a higher level of writing by teaching creative writing and critiquing each other’s work, so they can further their craft. All writers that join the group will be published if they are willing to put the time into their books,” says Peter. Peter is a youth pastor from the US, who has been holding motivational conferences and workshops around the world. He has led three critique groups in California; one of which, the adult group has produced 12 new published authors and 30 books between them in a span of five years. Peter’s mission is to spread the word. “It is my passion to see other writers published with excellence,” he says. Meetings will be held monthly at 338 Garden Restaurant in Adliya from 4pm-6pm on the second Saturday of every month. Visit www.facebook.com/bahrainchristianwriters.
