If you love scuba diving and the idea of being at a beach, Seef Mall will be transforming a part of its venue to accommodate an underwater-themed family event called Deep Blue Seef. The event takes place at the mall’s west wing from 10am to 10pm, giving shoppers, visitors and summer fans something exciting to look forward to from May 23 until June 22. “Seef Mall always looks for opportunities to interact with our customers in a unique way. With summer just starting, this is a great way for our customers to spend time under water and enjoy a world of fantastic colours, spectacular animals and fun,” says Robert Addison, Seef Properties general manager. Air swimmers Adding to the event’s attractions, Seef Mall introduces air swimmers for the first time; they swim through the air operated by a radio-controlled handset. These giant-sized flying fish are easy to control in the tightest of spaces as you test your flying skills in the air. Four people will compete against each other, guiding the controlled air swimmers across hurdles. The contestant to get through all the hoops in the fastest time wins. Exploring bubbles Did you know that apart from blowing bubbles you could also walk inside one? Seef Mall is giving you the chance to experience the Bubble Race, which allows you to walk, run, roll and just have fun. Four people compete against each other and the one with the fastest track time will be declared the winner. Creating memories A paddler’s pond caters to young kids, where they can play in a huge sea of balls.
