On behalf of His Royal Highness, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, the Cabinet Affairs Minister HE Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Mutawa officially inaugurated the new Aster DM Medical Centre in Gudaibiya. The ceremony took place in the presence of Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, president Supreme Council of Health and HE Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh, Health Minister. As a part of the eighth Korea-Arab friendship caravan tour, a b-boy performance Marionette’by Expression Crew was held at Bahrain Cultural Hall. Around 400 people attended the show and afterwards Bahraini and Korean b-boys had a dance battle demonstrating their break dance skills. The Commanding Officer of Pakistani ship PNS Tippu Sultan hosted an onboard reception dinner for Pakistani and Bahraini dignitaries which was attended by HE Hatun Demirer, Turkish Ambassador, Foreign Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Dr Dhafer Al Omran, HE Muhammad Saeed Khan, Pakistani Ambassador and Deputy Commander Royal Bahrain Naval Force Brigadier Mohammed Yousif Al Asam. Members of the media got a chance to fly at the launch of Gravity indoor skydiving venue. The RCSI held a conferring ceremony for graduates, at its campus. The Moroccan Embassy and Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities hosted a traditional musical evening at the Cultural Centre to mark Bahrain’s National Day. The event saw Layali Al Nagham Music Group playing Arab-Andalusian music from Morocco joined on stage by their Bahraini counterparts the Mohammed Bin Faris band.
