Fitted with the sporty ‘M’ body kit, the all-new BMW X5 offers more space, comfort, power and functionality. The new model is poised to deliver even more driving pleasure to discerning customers in Bahrain. “The BMW X5 has been the pinnacle in the SAV Segment for more than a decade,” commented Paul Yates, Euro Motors general manager at the launch event. “Building on the strong base by previous models, while simultaneously improving comfort, design, performance and power, the new X5 is certain to be a success in Bahrain.” Since its inception, the BMW X5 has been the a market leader in the SAV segment, and one of BMW’s best-selling model series accounting for almost a third of all BMW models sold globally. This third generation vehicle will once again set new standards with its evolutionary design features, spacious interior and increased driving comfort. In addition, for the first time, the X5 will be available with a choice of new suspension packages. These include the Adaptive Suspension Comfort, Dynamic, Professional and Adaptive M Suspension, all of which provides further enhanced ride comfort. BMW Twin Power Turbo technology and additional BMW EfficientDynamics features ensure that the new BMW X5 is faster and more efficient than ever. Under the bonnet sits a newly enhanced engine variant and the xDrive50i with a new generation of the V8 petrol engine delivers 450hp, ten per cent more power than its predecessor. The Driving Experience Control switch is fitted as standard with Comfort, Dynamic and Professional adaptive suspension packages. The Adaptive M suspension can be specified to enhance the car’s sporty handling properties and ride comfort. Inside the redesigned exterior of the X5 is a more luxurious interior environment with a selection of high quality leather and trims available, atmospheric lighting options and increased spaciousness. Due to the model’s 3.2cm extended wheelbase, the cockpit now plays host to a newly raised seating position. The striking horizontal lines now extend into the door trim and noticeably enhance the interior.
