FLAVOURS OF INDIA The latest superstar chef to bring his talents to Bahrain’s own degustation venue, Mahonia, is Mauro Colagreco. An Argentinian of French origin, he arrived in France in 2001 working with Michelin-starred legends such as Bernard Loiseau, Alain Passard, Alain Ducasse and Guy Martin before setting up his own restaurant in Menton, Mirazur. Just a year later, he earned his first Michelin Star! By 2009, Mirazur was ranked 35th in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list and in 2012, he gained his second Michelin Star. By 2016, the eatery was at number six on that list and last year it had made it to number three. Since his restaurant is on the coast and closed for three months of the year, chef Mauro loves to travel and create extraordinary meals with his contemporaries across the world. Which is just what he will be doing when he joins chef Herve Pronzato to create one of the venue’s amazing Four Hands Dinners on February 28 and March 1. Call 17 000-071. FOUR MORE HANDS
