Eddy is one of the UK circuit’s most in-demand headline acts working regularly with all the leading promoters. BALLET PERFORMANCE FEBRUARY 25 SCHEHERAZADE BALLET Bahrain National Theatre Held in commemoration of Arab Tourism Day, the Bahrain National Theatre hosts Scheherazade, a one-act ballet adaptation of the symphonic suite composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov based on the timeless One Thousand and One Nights. It was originally performed in 1910 by the Paris-based Ballet Russes, widely regarded as the most influential ballet company of the 20th century. The event starts at 8pm. Visit culture.gov.bh. THE ART OF HEALING FEBRUARY 22-26 JIKIDEN REIKI Seef District Reiki enthusiasts can now learn techniques from its original instruction in Japan by Usui Sensei, at this workshop held by Frank Arjava Petter. He is the best-selling author and vice representative of the Jikiden Reiki Institute, Kyoto Japan. The first part of the workshop, which runs from February 22-24, will teach you Shoden (Level 1). You will receive three Reiju (attunements) and learn how to use it to treat any physical condition, disease or injury. The second workshop on February 25-26 will teach Okuden (Level 2). On completion of the class you will receive English certification as well as a Japanese certificate issued by the institute in Kyoto. A non-refundable deposit of BD50 is required to register.
