Celebrated across the GCC countries in the second week of February, the event is held in Bahrain under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for charity and youth affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The event aims to promote public health by involving all sectors of Bahrain’s sports society in order to instill the culture of sport as a healthy lifestyle.
