The fresh design was a collaborative effort of Hyundai designers from Seoul, South Korea, and the US design centre in Irvine, California. The new Veloster maintains the car’s unique character but features a comprehensive exterior and interior redesign, powertrain enhancements, and a bevy of new and improved infotainment and connectivity features. “This new generation ensures the Veloster remains a compelling choice, particularly for younger drivers who want a car that is individualistic as well as dynamic, while incorporating the latest advances in engineering and technology,” says Mike Song, Hyundai’s head of operations for Africa and the Middle East. The second-generation Hyundai Veloster will begin production in Korea in March, and is expected to arrive in showrooms during the second quarter of 2018.
