BTM February 2012 101 Combining a 400 hp 5.6-litre V8 engine with Infiniti’s VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift), and an electronically-controlled seven-speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift control, the 2012 all-new Infiniti QX offers an inspired powerful performance. The design of this latest QX is more than dynamic; it’s capable of transporting up to eight adults and their belongings, thanks to its class-leading second row legroom and powerfolding third row seats. Moreover, the bold front chrome grille is flanked by automatic on/off bi-functional Xenon headlights, with windshield wiper interlock and integrated front fog lights. The adaptive front lighting system, with auto-levelling headlights and headlight washers, is also available. Technology features The new Infiniti QX also offers a range of advanced technology systems, including Infiniti’s lane departure warning and prevention systems. A new blind spot warning system is also included.
