Currently, Mashreq is working on a programmed trade and working capital solution for the small enterprises having an annual sale between BD500,000 and BD1 million; this will be a partially secured product depending on the outcome of the credit evaluation of the client’s financials. This is expected to be rolled out sometime in early 2012. Additionally Mashreq have also developed three current account propositions namely ‘Value’, ‘Premium’ and ‘Platinum’ for the three SME segments to suit the transactional needs of the clients. The company has made great in roads into the corporate banking arena. Corporate banking services were launched in Q4 of 2010 within Bahrain and have made remarkable progress in this area. Also offered is a wide range of corporate banking solutions to Bahraini clients ranging from simple trade and working capital to treasury and capital markets products. High end clients have also been offered sophisticated solutions and capital market execution.
