The second quarter marked the beginning of a series of historic deals with King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH), to supply state-of-the-art radiology equipment; specifically, the first positron emission tomography scan for oncology patients in Bahrain. Through its Science and Industry division, a Nokia Care Service Centre in Exhibition Road was also launched. Finally, the last quarter witnessed the final milestone of the year when the company again secured a two-fold deal with KHUH for the supply of tabletop sterilisers and accessories, from Getinge Sweden, and also the provision of infusion therapy products, from Fresenius Kabi France.
