As the Country Manager of Avis Bahrain, Mr. Engineer has a clear priority: consistent, world-class customer service. “The one thing we ensure at Avis is to give the customer the expected world-class service consistency and satisfaction that we have cultivated over 45 years in Bahrain,” he says. “This is made possible by our most experienced and dedicated team at our branches.” Commitment to Service and Growth Each location under his watch is monitored closely. “Our branches have dedicated teams which report regularly on any customer satisfaction issues, which are dealt with immediately. Technology, too, plays a vital role. “We have invested in an automated car rental DMS system with a real-time fully integrated back office solution for all our valued customers’ needs,” he shares. Vision for the Future Reflecting on his personal career path, Mr. Engineer says: “It’s been 30 years since I first landed in Bahrain. It’s been quite a journey in this beautiful country, from operations to sales to management. Bahrain’s car rental market is fiercely competitive, highly service-driven and to meet customer service standards is a challenge I embrace. “Looking ahead, I was to expand our footprint by adding new strategic locations, marketing our luxury EVs and hybrids aggressively, growing our luxury chauffeur drive services, and increasing our market share at the right price. Fleet expansion with diversification is also a key priority.”
