In fact, getting creative, learning a new skill or feeling the rhythm has a way of igniting a child’s full potential. Academics are important, but learning to dance, get creative at an art studio or learning to quite literally overcome obstacles is just as important. We explored 3 excellent venues where your child can learn to be creative, strong and free! ARTOLOGY – THE ART COMMUNE There’s nothing quite like art to ignite a child’s creativity. Artology – The Art Commune Events was established in Bahrain in 2010 and is a unique private studio space, located in Saar, which promotes arts culture and supports local, regional and international artists. People of all ages, skill sets, nationalities and from every school are welcome to unleash their creativity at Artology. A hands-on teaching method is incorporated to allow students to develop their skills, express their emotions and have a space that they can call their own. Taking in all ages from four years and above, their classes work on project bases integrating fun facts about the artists, the art movements and styles. Every project is based on a technique and medium – students are given basics and then given room to get inspired and create their own. The aim is to create original artwork.
