30 August 2012 BTM YATEEM CENTRE Win a Trip! Yateem Centre opens up their visitor’s car park in the basement with up to two hours free parking for customers — plenty of time to go inside for some shopping and even have a wander around the souq. The centre also offers a new incentive that could land you the vacation you’ve been dying to take. The new summer raffle draw gives shoppers the opportunity to win a free air ticket to anywhere around the globe. Every BD5 spent entitles shoppers to a free raffle ticket, so the more you spend the more chances you have of winning. “Last year, one enterprising shopper actually had a stamp made at Immediate Printing with his name and telephone number, so he didn’t have to write out his details on every raffle! The cost of the stamp paid for his parking, too,” says centre manager, Andrew Petty. The centre has some delicious Iftar options for the Ramadan month as well. The popular Bahraini restaurant, Al Osra, has recently opened their new main branch at the mall, proving to be an attractive destination for those wanting good food at good prices. The more casual snacker can opt for Jasmi’s or a spicy dish at Saffron Souk. For the Fashionistas on the hunt for the perfect Eid outfit, the Centre lines up a host of trendy clothes and cosmetics boutiques. Denim Chic, Clouds, Moon’s Top Shop, Redha Trading and Candy Country are just a few retailers you don’t want to miss. After a stroll around the shops, enjoy some savouries and coffee with free WiFi at Costa Coffee. E Call 17 215-615. Have you been planning to head down to the souq recently but are dreading the parking issues? happeningsthismonth bystanderthismonth Malaysian Embassy Dinner The Malaysian Embassy in association with Talent Corp Malaysia hosted a dinner reception for members of the Malaysian community in Bahrain.
