174 April 2016 www.bahrainthismonth.com The Ozone Entertainment Center is a delightful new venue that is both fun and energising, as the BTM team discovered after a long day at work. When we were invited to try out the Ladies’ Night, we were only too eager to experience a somewhat different ‘girls’ night out’. We had a great start at the Billiards Zone, where some of the team started potting balls with glee while others valiantly kept trying, whilst waiting for everyone to arrive. The bespoke tables are designed especially for Ozone with six standard tables, one ‘Manhattan’ billiard table and one snooker table. The first impression of the place is that it’s cool, snazzy, clean and spacious. After we had eased into the evening, we were taken on a mini-expedition through the café and the party room. The O Café, open seven days a week from midday to midnight, offers hot and cold dishes prepared freshly in-house, as well as a range of fresh juices, smoothies and flavoured teas and coffees. After a few games, you definitely build an appetite (as we were to experience later) and the café is a welcoming sight, especially if you’re heading to Ozone straight after work. The beautifully decorated Party Zone is dedicated to kids’ birthday parties, offering a variety of activities to enjoy, such as TV, karaoke, foosball and billiards. An exciting venue and different from the norm – it’s cool, classy, a lot of fun, and can fit 60 people. There are three birthday packages to choose from: Bronze (BD15), Silver (BD20) and Gold (BD25), priced per child. Next up was the star of the show, Laser Tag, which we were looking forward to the most. Eager to unleash a legalised form of blood thirst (which may or may not refer to the release of stress), and dressed up in ‘combat-gear’ with the latest laser tag guns on the market, by Delta Strike US; we were super excited and ready to take on our opponents. Being in the largest multilevel indoor arena in Bahrain, with smoke machines and heart pumping music to add to the excitement, we were in for 15 minutes of pure pleasure.
